Are We Teaching Kids Enough Empathy? 4 Reasons We Need To!

Violence, bullying, stress claims, road rage, separated families, mental illness... All are on the increasingly on the rise. What can help? One key factor is empathy: seeing someone else's perspective. When we do this we:

  • are less likely to be angry
  • more likely to forgive
  • may be less anxious
  • will find it easier to be kind, patient and generous

This then has positive effects on our mood, confidence and relationships. When we empathize, we are more likely to put our own pain, disappointment and anger into perspective. Best of all, it costs nothing! It's an inexpensive and immediate way of feeling better!
